PRIMARY PURPOSE

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller/Buyer to manage inventory, procurement, and stock movement within our warehouse. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and inspect stock for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain and update inventory records (FIFO for perishables).
• Conduct weekly stock takes and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate logistics, dispatch, and supplier deliveries.
• Ensure storeroom cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide regular reports and support emergency procurement needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and inventory systems.
• Experience in stock control or procurement (advantageous).
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to adapt to flexible working hours and cope with emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s licence.
