Position: Assistant Camp Manager

Location: Campsite

Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Camp Manager. The Assistant Camp Manager will work closely with the Camp Manager to oversee the operations of the campsite, ensuring the smooth running of all activities and programs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a camp setting, strong leadership skills, and a passion for outdoor education.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Camp Manager with planning and organizing camp activities, programs, and events
- Supervise camp counsellors, staff, and volunteers to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
- Maintain a clean and safe campsite environment, including facilities and equipment
- Assist with camper check-in and check-out procedures
- Assist with budget management and procurement of supplies and resources
- Develop and lead staff training sessions on camp policies, procedures, and emergency protocols
- Address any camper or staff concerns or conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the Camp Manager to develop and implement camp policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Manager

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a camp setting or similar outdoor environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for outdoor education and youth development
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
